Some of the older neighborhood boys have been making fun of Little Johnny lately. Their favorite trick is to offer him a choice between a nickel and a dime. Little Johnny always picks the nickel, and the boys laugh at him every time.
One day, a neighbor sees what’s happening and says, “Little Johnny, those boys are making fun of you. Don’t you realize a dime is worth more than a nickel?”
Little Johnny smiles and replies, “Yeah, I know. But if I take the dime, they’ll stop doing it… and so far, I’ve made 20 bucks.”
