A quick life update.

the project

I found myself tinkering with the site’s content again, so I’ve decided to transition everything over to English. I’ve already finished the links and music posts. The shows, jokes, stories, and pages are still in progress. While I’m at it, I’m also optimizing the layout for mobile users, since that’s how most of you are finding your way here.

recommendations

ChatGPT keeps recommending my post about YouTube channels that offer legitimate and free Tagalog movies.

I should also mention that our list of Philippine Holidays for 2026 is still updated.

I’m on release duty for regression and production this month. This is my first time doing it since we migrated to GitHub. Back in the TFS days, I was the resident ‘Classic Files Prep Guy,’ eventually training the whole team so we could rotate the responsibility.

Last March 26, after all tickets were verified and merged into the main branch, I proceeded to prepare the regression release. I started the run around 6:40 PM. Turns out, finding an approver at that hour is like finding a bug-free first draft. Hahaha. It finally got the green light at 8:30 PM, and the actual release took less than 10 minutes. Wow. If it had been approved immediately, it would have been done before 7 PM. My first experience wasn’t that encouraging. I kind of don’t want to do it again! Hehe.

In other news, I’ve joined a new AI focus group. It’s an extra-hours commitment, but I’m diving in. I’m planning to spend my Holy Week getting cozy with some AI documentation.

Between March 1st and 28th, I’ve been busy archiving: my latest logs include 15 feature films, 2 Tagalog films, 1 TV series, 7 albums, 2 singles, and 2 extended plays.

I tried looking for a video card for my PC, but I couldn’t find any. There are higher-end (and more expensive) compatible ones available, but my PC is a bit old, so it wouldn’t be able to reach its full potential anyway. For now, I’ll just have to make do with my integrated graphics card. =p

My usual vape juice shop is currently closed, and according to the motorcycle shop downstairs, it won’t be opening anytime soon. At first, I couldn’t find any other place to buy juice. However, my wife found a seller on our subdivision’s FB page, but they only had pre-filled pods which required buying a new rechargeable device. I was forced to buy it.

Then, my wife spotted a vape store nearby that had juice available (Yay!). But right after I bought the juice, my device started acting up. I thought it was just the cartridge, but even after replacing it, it still wouldn’t work. I went back to using the pre-filled pod for a while. Eventually, I just bought a new pod system so I could finally use the cartridges and juices I had already purchased.
