My Two Cents
Ang Project Hail Mary ay isa sa mga bihirang science-fiction stories na nagagawang maging smart, exciting, funny, at surprisingly emotional all at the same time.
Para sa akin, ito ‘yung uri ng science-fiction na masarap ulit-ulitin katulad ng The Martian. Meron ditong high-stakes survival, matalinong science problem-solving, at puwede ka din maging emosyonal sa ilang mga eksena (tulad ko). Palaging may new challenges sa takbo ng istorya, kaya naman tututukan mo talaga ang panonood mula simula hanggang dulo.
Na-balanse ng pelikula ang mga big scientific ideas at ang simpleng buhay ng tao tungkol sa friendship, sacrifice, at perseverance. Maaaring ma-overwhelm ka sa maraming scientific details pero essential ang mga ito para mas maging unique ang experience mo sa panonood ng pelikulang ito.

When a movie says “Based on a True Story,” it usually means a guy named Bob actually existed, but the part where he fought a cyborg bear on top of a moving train was slightly exaggerated for dramatic effect.
Right now, they are holding their phone two inches from their face, completely blind to the fact that they’ve been scrolling through a stranger’s 2018 vacation photos for the last 45 minutes.
I will confidently sing lyrics at the top of my lungs for ten years, only to find out the actual words make total sense and I’ve been shouting absolute gibberish the entire time.
