One bright, beautiful Sunday morning, everyone in the tiny town of Smithville wakes up early and heads to their local church. Before the service begins, the townspeople sit in their pews, chatting about their lives, their families, and everyday concerns.
Suddenly, Satan appears at the altar!
Panic erupts. People scream and rush toward the exits, trampling over each other in their desperate attempt to escape Evil Incarnate.
Within moments, the church is completely empty except for one man, calmly sitting in his pew, seemingly unfazed by the presence of God’s ultimate enemy.
Confused, Satan walks up to him and says,
“Hey, don’t you know who I am?”
The man replies, “Yep, I sure do.”
Satan asks, “Well, aren’t you afraid of me?”
The man says, “Nope, not at all.”
Now clearly irritated, Satan demands, “And why aren’t you afraid of me?”
The man shrugs and says,
“Well… I’ve been married to your sister for 25 years.”
