68 songs. I listened to all of them on my reliable MP3 player from the moment I left the house until I arrived at the office. That’s how bad the traffic was. That’s how long my commute took. Fortunately, it was only my second time being late for the month, so I was still relatively calm. That’s all. Grrr.
I posted this on my old blog back on July 5, 2005 (Tuesday). I can’t quite remember what was happening that day. If this was 2005, I was still working at my second company. So, my commute would have been from Caloocan to Makati. I checked, but there wasn’t any specific news about traffic on that date. Plus, I usually took the LRT Line 1 (Monumento to Baclaran) to get to work. It’s possible (just a guess) that the LRT-1 broke down, so I might have taken a jeepney all the way to Gil Puyat instead.
I’ve put these songs into a Spotify Playlist. It’s 3 hours and 45 minutes long if you play it from start to finish. The songs are accurate to my old post, except for “Imbecillesque.” The original Rivermaya version isn’t on Spotify yet, so I had to use the cover/tribute version. I also have no recollection of why this was my “soundtrip” at the time. Anyway, if you’re stuck in heavy traffic, you can jam out to this playlist. 😎👌🎧🎵
