I first heard this on December 6, 2025. I immediately looked for the original version after hearing this cover by Ashton Delaney.
I just thought that this song could be dedicated to a newborn baby. It’s like you’re talking to your child and telling them that they are the most beautiful thing that has ever come into your life. That you are ready to give them everything they need.
But you’re also telling them how hard life can be in the world they are born into.
Yet you know they can handle it because they will grow up stronger and smarter than you, as long as they surpass your achievements and stay honest and true to themselves. Well, that’s just what I think.
